Typhoon "PABUK " affects the southeastern part of Vietnam

Typhoon Pabuk (tropical storm level), the 26th of this year, was centered over the southwestern South China Sea, about 385 kilometers to the east of Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam, at 09:00 on the 24th (Beijing time). The location is at approximately 11.4 degrees north latitude and 111.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is at level 8 (18 meters per second), and the minimum central pressure is 1000 hectopascals. Pabuk is expected to move southwestward at a speed of 5-10 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. It will gradually weaken and dissipate over the southern coastal waters of Vietnam by late night on the 25th.

Affected by this, it is expected that over the next three days, there will be heavy to severe rains, with locally heavy downpours in the southeastern part of Vietnam and the central and southern parts of the South China Sea, accompanied by gales of 8-10 levels. Moreover, starting from the 27th, the impact of tropical disturbances will continue, with heavy to extremely heavy rainfalls still affecting some areas in the region.
