Over the next three days, influenced by the landfall of Tropical Cyclone "GEZANI" in the southwestern Indian Ocean, eastern and central-northern Madagascar will experience heavy to torrential rain, with localized extremely heavy downpours. Accumulated precipitation is expected to range from 60 to 100 millimeters, with localized areas exceeding 200 millimeters. Regions traversed by "GEZANI" will face winds of 6 to 8 on the Beaufort scale, with gusts reaching 9 to 10. Attention should be given to potential secondary disasters such as flash floods, landslides, and urban waterlogging caused by the intense rain and wind.
