Eastern and Southern Europe to Experience Intense Rain and Snowfall Again
Over the next three days, influenced by an upper-level low vortex and an upper-level trough, parts of southwestern Eastern Europe, northern Balkan Peninsula, western Russia, and the northern coast of the Black Sea are expected to experience moderate to heavy snowfall. In Bulgaria and other areas, localized heavy to very heavy snowfall is anticipated. Additionally, southern Eastern Europe will still see a temperature drop of 10-12°C, with some areas experiencing a drop exceeding 14°C.
Additionally, over the next three days, influenced by a cold vortex and an upper-level trough, parts of the Pyrenees, northern Italy, Switzerland, northern Germany, and northern UK are expected to experience moderate to heavy snow, with localized severe or extreme snowfall. Meanwhile, regions including Portugal, western Spain, southern France, southern Ireland, northern and central Italy, western Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Greece will see moderate to heavy rain, with isolated areas facing torrential downpours.
