In 2022, the United Nations launched the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative, aiming to ensure that everyone on Earth is protected by early warning systems. In response, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) proposed MAZU (Multi-hazard, Alert, Zero-gap and Universal) - China's solution for supporting global early warning capacity development. MAZU integrates a full spectrum of disaster risk governance assets, including disaster risk knowledge, cutting-edge technologies, products, operational systems, service tools, equipment, and practical experience in disaster prevention and mitigation.
