Reported by Chinanews.com, forest fire has burned more than 9,000 hectares in Western Australia since 2 Jan 2021. A severe heatwave is expected over the next few days in Western Australia, with the highest temperature generally reaching more than 37℃, and some areas exceeding 40℃.
In addition, there will be 6-10 m/s easterly wind and very low relative humidity in the above areas. Under the above heatwave conditions, the risk of forest fire remains very high in these regions.
