Rainfall to Weaken in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, India
It is forecasted that from the 18th to the 20th, influenced by a shortwave trough splitting from the base of an upper-level cold vortex (Figure 1), most regions of India will experience light to moderate rain, with some southern areas likely to see heavy rain. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will have light to moderate rain, with cumulative precipitation ranging from 5 to 12 millimeters (Figure 2).
After the 21st, precipitation in India will further weaken, with Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand primarily experiencing clear or cloudy weather.
