The typhoon "YINXING" will affect the Philippines

The center of Typhoon "YINXING" was located at approximately 560 kilometers northeast of Manila, Philippines, in the northwestern Pacific Ocean at 8:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on the 6th, at latitude 18.1 degrees north and longitude 124.7 degrees east. The maximum sustained wind near the center reached 14 levels (42 meters per second), with the minimum central pressure at 955 hectopascals. The radius of the 7th-level wind field is 160-200 kilometers, the radius of the 10th-level wind field is 80-120 kilometers, and the radius of the 12th-level wind field is 50-70 kilometers.

It is anticipated that "Ginkgo" will move northwestward to westward at a speed of 5-10 kilometers per hour, with minimal change in intensity. By the afternoon of the 8th, it will have entered the northeastern sea area of the South China Sea, where its intensity will gradually increase, potentially reaching typhoon or super typhoon levels (15-16 grades, 48-52 m/s). Subsequently, it will approach the waters of the Xisha Islands, with its intensity gradually weakening.

Affected by this, from the 6th to the 8th, northern Philippines will experience heavy to heavy rain, with locally severe downpours, and strong winds of 6-8 levels, with gusts reaching 9-11 levels.
