Southern Europe Experiences Intense Rain and Snowfall, While the Sahara in North Africa Faces Sandstorm Conditions 

Affected by a cutoff low vortex, the next three days will see moderate to heavy rain in parts of northeastern Spain, southern France, southern Italy, Greece, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, with localized heavy downpours or extreme rain. In the central and northern parts of the Balkan Peninsula, moderate to heavy snow or sleet is expected, with isolated areas experiencing severe to extreme snowstorms. In North Africa, including the Sahara region, temperatures are expected to drop by 6 to 10°C or more, accompanied by winds of 4 to 6 levels or higher, along with sandstorms.
