Strong Rain, Snow, Gusty Winds, and Freezing Weather Expected in Central and Western Asia
Over the next three days, influenced by the eastward movement of a low trough and low vortex system, parts of northern West Asia, most of Central Asia, and northern Pakistan are expected to experience heavy to severe snowfall or sleet, with localized extreme to very extreme snowfall. In these regions, temperatures are anticipated to drop by 8 to 12°C, with mountainous areas seeing localized temperature decreases of 14 to 16°C or more, accompanied by strong winds of 4 to 6 levels or higher.
