Recently, the global objective weather forecast product developed by China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has been put into operation. It provides refined weather elements forecast for 11621 cities accross the globle as shown below and real-time global 10-km gridded weather prediction at 3-hour interval for the next 10 days.

The products are generated on a real-time basis by the new-generation global objective weather forecast system, which is based on the global NWP outputs including GRAPES (CMA) and past surface observations. Mutiple post-processing techniques are applied that the forecast biases have been significantly corrected.

So far, these gridded objective products have been provided to Laos Meteorological and hydrological department for support of operational forecasting. (Source: China Meteorological News Press)
