Sharing similarities in the types of meteorological disasters, both are susceptible to threats such as typhoons and torrential rains. Economically, ASEAN countries and China share the fundamental mission of advancing development and enhancing people’s wellbeing.

Access to high-quality, high-resolution Earth system analysis and prediction products is essential for all National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) to forecast weather conditions including high-impact phenomena and issue warnings on hazardous weather, water and climate events to their public. The improvement in access to Earth system prediction products will enhance national early warning systems, resulting in saving more lives and better protecting properties.
