Texas, USA Continues to Experience Heavy Rainfall and Severe Convective Weather
On July 4th, central Texas, USA, experienced moderate to heavy rainfall, with localized severe downpours, leading to flooding that resulted in multiple deaths and missing persons. Over the next two days, influenced by the persistent low-level vortex, parts of central Texas are expected to continue experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall, with localized severe or extreme downpours, accompanied by severe convective weather including short-duration heavy rainfall and thunderstorm gales. Accumulated precipitation will reach 30-80 mm, with some areas exceeding 100 mm. Continuous attention is required for secondary disasters triggered by the heavy rainfall, including flooding, landslides, mudslides, and urban waterlogging.
