The International Training Workshop on Sand and Dust Storms Monitoring and Forecasting in Asia is scheduled for 25–31 October 2026 in Beijing, China. The National Meteorological Centre hosts the workshop, with organization by the CMA International Cooperation and Training Centre and sponsorship from WMO and Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology.

The programme covers SDS-WAS, AI applications for early warning, dust prediction models, health impacts and operational platforms. A MAZU session and exchanges among participants are also included in the agenda.
